Occupational Therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that helps people of all ages do the everyday activities (or “occupations”) that are important and meaningful to them—especially after injury, illness, or due to disability.

Occupational Therapy Services

Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) play a crucial role in helping adults live independently, safely, and with purpose—especially when they’re dealing with illness, injury, disability, or aging. All our OTs are registered with HCPC (Health and Care professional Council) and experienced in adult care.

Our OTs are kind problem-solvers for your daily life. If you’ve ever had trouble doing something because of health or physical challenges—like cooking with a broken wrist or working with ADHD—Our OTs are ready to step in to help you adapt.

Our Occupational Therapy roles include:

• OTs promote independence in Daily living whereby help client’s carry out ADLs such as dressing, bathing, cooking and eating. Support our client managing household tasks (cleaning, shopping, etc.). Also, using adaptive tools or techniques when needed (e.g., one-handed dressing aids, non-slip mats).

• Provided Rehabilitation after illness or injury. OTs improve strength, coordination and cognition, relearn lost skills and using the assistive devices to develop new strategies.

• Support falls prevention and Mobility. Our OTs assess home environment for fall risks and recommend mobility aids, adaption and educate on safe movement techniques or balancing -building activities.

• OTs ensure home is safe for all client and accessible. Coordinate with the carers and provide moving and handling guidelines for carers and families if required.

• Educate family members or caregivers on safe lifting, transfers and provide moving and handling guidelines for carers and families.

Improving Strength and Coordination

More often than not, when we mention Occupational Therapy, people might not fully grasp the breadth of support it offers. At Cluster Services, our Occupational Therapists (OTs) are registered with the HCPC and are experienced in helping adults live independently, safely, and with purpose, especially when facing challenges due to illness, injury, disability, or aging.

Think of our OTs as skilled problem-solvers for your everyday life. If a health or physical issue makes daily tasks difficult – like getting dressed after surgery or managing household chores with limited mobility – our OTs are ready to help you adapt and find solutions.
